Now that the mercury is really starting to plummet in regions across the world, cyclists are taking to the indoors in order to continue their riding regimen.
Companies like La Passione have been keen to capitalize on the change in climate with the launch of its new NDR collection of indoor cycling apparel.
Alongside lightweight jerseys and bibshorts, La Passione’s NDR collection also includes accessories like lightweight socks and towels – aimed at keeping riders cool and comfortable when ventilation comes as a commodity.
The NDR sleeveless jersey is made from a lightweight, bi-elastic material that’s said to “act like a sponge” yet is also quick-drying, while the regular NDR Jersey features an ultra-lightweight perforated fabric aimed at providing “excellent ventilation and a pleasant freshness” during rigorous work-outs on the trainer.
In the case of the NDR Bibshorts, high quality Italian Lycra combined with perforated fabric inserts on the legs ensure “optimal ventilation”, while mesh straps add to their comfort.
But, for those who prefer a traditional short, La Passione also offers the NDR Short – sans the straps.
While cycling socks continue to grow in height, La Passione designed the NDR Sock to be just 9cm tall, which relies on ultralight Qskin material to provide the requisite amount of softness and compression.
Lastly, to keep the sweat off one’s brow, La Passione offers the generous-size, full-cotton NDR Towel to round out its collection.
