All proceeds go towards World Bicycle Relief, helping mobilize people through the Power of Bicycles.

World Bicycle Relief was founded in 2005 by F.K. Day and Leah Missbach Day in response to the Indian Ocean Tsunami. By partnering with aid organizations in Sri Lanka they distributed over 24,000 bicycles, empowering the survivors. Today, they have assembly facilities in six African countries and bikes on the ground in 15 countries across Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia.

“We envision a world where distance no longer prevents access to healthcare, education and economic opportunity. We provide specially-designed, locally assembled bicycles to students across rural Africa through sustainable study-to-own programs. We also train field mechanics to ensure access to maintenance and spare parts. Using Buffalo Bicycles, World Bicycle Relief also empowers entrepreneurs and healthcare workers as well as supporting environmental program in South Africa through Qhubeka.”
