MAAP Uses Recycled Fabrics for Its Special Edition Evade Pro Base Jersey

MAAP is breathing new life into excess fabrics to create a limited edition version of its Evade Pro Base Jersey, as part of the Australian brand’s Offcuts sustainability program.

According to MAAP, its OffCuts program is the brand’s latest sustainability initiative to limit the number of textiles that would otherwise end up in a landfill each year.

“Climate matters, and in order to help protect the places we ride, we’re committing to evaluating what we can do now, while continuing to explore what can be done in the coming months, years and decades. Sustainable practices define everything we do, from choosing and processing our product’s raw materials to the manufacturing process and product end life cycle,” says MAAP.

The limited edition multi-colored Evade Pro Base Jerseys is available in a range of sizes from XS to XL for $215.00, which features honeycomb mesh sleeves paired with ultra-soft knitted Italian fabrics aimed at increasing airflow and comfort, while reflective graphics allow 360 degree visibility no matter the conditions are, as well as SPF50+ sun protection that provides an extra layer of coverage for those long days in the saddle.

As part of its on-going commitment to sustainability, MAAP says it will periodically introduce new limited edition garments to its Offcuts program.
