As gravel cycling continues evolving, No. 22 has thoughtfully updated its entire Drifter family for modern gravel from top to bottom. With the ability to rapidly prototype utilizing 3D printing and control their in-house manufacturing, the Drifter family gets updated geometry, new features, expanded tire clearance, and a fresh look.
“The future of gravel is bright, and we have a model for all flavors of off-road. Each No. 22 is handmade in either stock or custom geometry in our Upstate New York facility,” boasts No.22.
The Drifter family consists of three different models: Drifter X, Drifter and Drifter Adventure, all of which benefit from geometry updates and improved tire clearance. The Drifter and Drifter Adventure both feature an entirely new 3D-printed yoke. In addition, No. 22 is also launching a new suspension-corrected fork that will be available with a frame or complete bicycle and aftermarket this summer from No.22’s sister brand, No.6 Composites.
Here’s how the models breakdown.
Drifter X: (Light gravel / All road) Intended to be suitable for non-competitive gravel riding, and wider-tired “all-road” use. Crisp under power, the Drifter X features a slightly steeper seat tube angle, enabling shorter seat stays for wider tire clearance while maintaining the signature Drifter ride quality.

Drifter: (Gravel Race) Aimed as a contemporary gravel bike with a suspension-corrected rigid fork, high levels of stiffness under power, and aggressive handling with maximum tire clearance. Our Unbound race bike. The Drifter can accommodate 56mm tires with 5mm of clearance utilizing No.22’s new 3D printed yoke. With shorter chainstays and moderate reach, the Drifter is the brand’s flagship gravel model, prioritizing speed and effective power transfer.
Drifter Adventure: (Adventure / Singletrack / Bikepacking) Maximum versatility, including generous bikepacking mounts, stability when loaded, and with handling most suitable for mild singletrack. Tube selection, optional front suspension, and clearance for over a 50mm tire give the Drifter Adventure compliance for all-day rides. A redesigned 3D printed yolk, along with longer reach and chainstays, positions the rider comfortably when the going gets rough.
