Officina Pegoretti highlights the importance of “community” with a new film series called Universally Pegoretti.
“Pegoretti’s workshop has always been a meeting point for friends and family. Over the years, the brand has welcomed people from across the globe, all bound by a common thread: their love for riding and passion for Pegoretti. But the connection doesn’t end when their visitors depart. The Officina receives a stream of photos, updates and occasionally something handmade from their customer’s home region throughout the year. It’s a relationship that connects Pegoretti’s workshop to the world,” says the brand that continues the legacy of vaunted Italian framebuilder Dario Pegoretti, who died in 2018.
To celebrate this unique connection, Pegoretti commissioned filmmaker Frederick Shelbourne to meet owners where they ride, to tell their stories and see their life on and off the bike in the new series.
The first episode, Hecho a Mano, sees Pegoretti fly to Puebla in Mexico to meet José Federico, owner of the company that makes the brand’s t-shirts and Carlos Del Rio, a proud Pegoretti owner who graciously shows the team around his town aboard his custom Ciavete Duende.
