To celebrate this year’s Tour de France, Oakley has unveiled special edition versions of its Sutro, Flight Jacket and EV Zero Blade glasses, along with their ARO 5 and ARO 3 helmets.
In the case of the glasses, all three models are treated to a special gold and black finish with sliver accents, symbolizing what Oakley says is “the power, prestige, and perseverance that drives these world class athletes through the 21 grueling stages”.
Additionally, the three glasses feature Oakley’s Prizm lens that provide a claimed 11% per light transmission during bright riding conditions.
Both ARO 5 and ARO 3 helmets embellish the same gold and black colorway, along with Oakley’s Boa dial and lace retention system, as well as MIPS slip-plane technology for increased crash protection.
As an option, the ARO 5 is available in extra-large, along with the usual small, medium and large.
