Oakley Shows-Off Tour de France Limited Edition Range of Sunglasses

Oakley is showing-off its annual Tour de France limited edition range of sunglasses, comprising the Kato, Jawbreaker, Sutro Lite and Holbrook models.

Compared to previous editions, this year’s nod to the French Grand is decidedly understated, opting for a subdued mix of black and transparent frame colors instead of the traditional French blue, white and red flag.

The Kato features a one-piece wraparound design, a built-in nose grip retention system and Oakley’s Prizm Road lens with red hue, fetching a hefty price tag of $323.

A mainstay since 215, the Jawbreaker has become one of Oakley’s most popular designs, featuring a frosted clear design on the frame’s upper section and temples, while the lower section and temples are treated to a contrasting black.

To further pay homage to the Grand Boucle, there’s a smattering of yellow on the “O”, along with the same Prizm Road lens – albeit in black for $254.

The Sutro Lite first broke cover in 2019, when Egan Bernal wore the shades to victory in that year’s Tour.

Keeping the same oversized, square-like shape, this edition Sutro Lite gets a Prizm Road lens in black with a mostly black frame, save for a splash of yellow along the upper center of the frame and the “O” along the temples for $209.

The Holbrook is one of Oakley’s most popular lifestyle sunglasses, so it’s little surprise to see the storied eyewear brand treat fandom of the Tour to their own set of sun catchers while viewing from the roadside.

The frame features a stylish black to a frosted clear blue design, plus the “O” in Oakley is colored in red on the bridge of the temples for $167.
