Pinarello has lifted the curtains on its latest Dogma F, unveiling a new frameset that’s “lighter, stiffer and faster” boasts the iconic Italian brand.
According to Pinarello, the Dogma F is 11% lighter, 12% stiffer in the bottom bracket area and nearly 5% more aerodynamic, with most of the weight savings attributed to the use of new 3D-printed titanium hardware.
While the Dogma F may share the same profile as the out-going Dogma F12, newly shaped seatstays, downtube, Onda fork and seatpost plot the new frame, changes that Pinarello claims results in a 3.2% reduction in drag for the rim brake variant and 4.8% for its disc brake counterpart, equating to a 2.6W savings at 50km/h, or a 1.3W reduction at 40km/h for the rest of us mortals.
The Dogma F features the same Toraya T1100 1K Dream Carbon fiber with Nanoalloy Technology, along with the same asymmetrical, aerodynamic attributes as its predecessor as well.
Other highlights include, total internal cable routing, axle fork flaps, a hidden seatpost clamp, multi-position seattube bottle cage bosses, an Italian threaded BB, drop-in 1.5″ straight headset, flat mount discs with 12mm thru-axles for the disc brake model and enough clearance to accommodate 28+mm tires.
The new Dogma F will be available as both a frameset only, or as a complete bike, with a number of drivetrain choices including electronic groupsets from Shimano, SRAM and Campagnolo, as well as various carbon wheelset options.
