Pirelli has expanded its range of gravel-specific tires with the introduction of their Cinturato Gravel S (Soft Terrain), which as its name implies, is designed for tackling soft, challenging terrain typical of most gravel grinding and bikepacking exploits.
Like the other tires in the range, the Cinturato Gravel S is a tubeless ready design, featuring Pirelli’s SpeedGRIP compound that combines the properties of puncture protection and low rolling resistance in both wet and dry conditions.
According to Pirelli, the Cinturato Gravel S utilizes a similar sculpted tread pattern as their Scorpion S MTB tire, albeit with redesigned tread blocks that are designed to optimize grip along multiple types of terrain.
Additionally, like the Cinturato Gravel RC version, the new S variant also comprises a 60 TPI nylon casing, along with Pirelli’s TechWALL Gravel “belt” technology.
Cinturato Gravel S is available in sizes 40-622 and 45-622 in both traditional black and with para sidewalls, while the Classic version is offered in 50-622 and 50-584.
