Q36.5 Premieres New Unique Pro Road Shoe

Q36.5 is premiering its latest flagship road shoe called the Unique Pro, featuring a minimalist carbon sole that measures a mere 2mm, bringing the overall “stack height” to just 4.4mm.

The Unique Pro first broke cover during February’s AIUla Tour under the auspices of the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team at Strade Bianche, which will make its official debut during the start of this weekend’s Giro d’Italia.

“Engineered for total control, our Unique Pro Shoes use proprietary Italian manufacturing technologies to achieve a new level of stability, power, and comfort for riders, allowing you to push yourself to the limit with a renewed level of confidence,” boasts Q36.5.

In addition to its sleek sole, the Unique Pro is further punctuated by BOA’s Power Strap retention system, a wider metatarsal area (+1 cm), improving comfort and freedom of movement, especially on long routes or during prolonged efforts, as well as a new single-piece upper with a ventilated mesh bridge to keep feet cool even on the hottest days.

“The artisanal carbon fiber sole is made in Montebelluna using a patent-pending layup. The outsole also features an extra-wide metatarsal area for guaranteed comfort across different foot sizes and a cupped heel for increased stability. A signature of all of our racing shoes, the Unique Pro Shoes feature no tongue but rather use a proprietary mesh panel across the bridge of the foot in order to maximize the shoes’ cooling effect. No other racing shoe on the market offers such a large and effective ventilating surface, representing an additional example of our commitment to thermoregulation as the new frontier for performance gains as well as rider comfort and health,” adds Q36.5.

Made entirely at Q36.5’s facility in Italy, the Unique Pro is available in white with sizes ranging from 37 to 48 for a hefty $600.00, while a Black version is slated for the end of May.
