Repente has introduced its latest saddle dubbed the NOMAD, featuring a full carbon construction that’s aimed at both on-road and off-road cyclists alike. Plus, the new saddle is designed to accommodate female riders as well, thanks to its anatomical shape.
The NOMAD is based on what Repente refers to as a “smart” sized saddle, a close-fit shape that measures 260 mm in length and 142 mm in width that’s designed to reduce ischial pressure, while also maintaining elevated support at the rear courtesy of a deep anatomical channel that relieves pressure in the central areas.
Elsewhere, the NOMAD features a T700 carbon shell that’s non-deformable over time and offers the right amount of flexibility, while its lightweight and durable UD carbon rails feature an elliptical 7×9 mm profile.
Additionally, in order to reduce the risk of inner thigh chafing, Repente has applied its Ergo Shape design, which features ultra-lightweight EVA padding that’s treated to a non-slip PU cover.
Lastly, the NOMAD comprises Repente’s RLS technology, allowing the pad and shell to be replaced in the event they’re damaged.
The NOMAD sells for $307.63, which can be purchased directly from Repente, or through its authorized retailers.
