Santini and K-Way Collaborate on New Collections

Santini and K-Way have once again collaborated on a new collection of apparel, featuring the blue, orange and yellow motif that has become synonymous with the latter’s well-known range of casual-wear.

The paths of Santini and K-Way were both started in 1965, but it would take 57 years before the brands would partner on a special edition jacket, which launched last July.

For summer 2023, the collaboration continues with a new line of technical cycling garments that includes two jerseys for men and one for women, along with matching bibshorts, a wind vest and a rain jacket, as well as accessories such as gloves and a water bottle.

For men, two jerseys and one bibshort form the collection, which feature entirely post-consumer recycled fabrics, originating from the recovery of used or discarded materials.

The garments feature a tight and aerodynamic fit, while the jersey is made in two color variations, white and blue, with a covered zipper that embellishes the iconic K-Way colors, with blue, orange and yellow horizontal stripes on the chest. In addition, a thermoplastic label that regals the Santini x K-Way partnership is applied on the back.

Offering a roomier fit, the second jersey is treated to a dotted design that was inspired by the Pointillism art movement that was born in France at the end of the 19th century, featuring blue, orange and yellow colors once gain, along with the same K-Way zipper and thermoplastic label that celebrates the partnership.

To match the jerseys, the collection includes bibshorts with blue, orange and yellow sections on the braces and at the bottom of the legs, while a label with the history of the partnership is placed on the back of braces.

From a technical point of view, the leg area is made of Thunderbike Power compression fabric, along with Santini’s signature 3D ergonomic C3 pad.

  • Suggested retail price – white and blue jerseys  $149,95
  • Suggested retail price – dot jersey  $119,95
  • Suggested retail price – bibshorts  $199,99

For the women’s collection, the color choice fell on lilac, with the jersey made from eco-friendly fabrics that are made with 100% recycled PET and waste yarns, and features the iconic K-Way blue, orange and yellow horizontal stripes on the chest.

The chosen fit is sleek, for an aero performance, while the sleeves and collar are raw cut, while the bibshorts feature the same design on the thighs, complimented by a thermoplastic Santini x K-Way insignia.

From a technical point of view, the bibshorts offer a compression effect, thanks to the Thunderbike Power fabric, as well as the Italian brand’s C3W seat pad, designed around the female anatomy with anti-shock gel inserts.

  • Suggested retail price – jersey  $149,95
  • Suggested retail price – bibshorts  $189,95

Jacket, vest and accessories

In case of rain, the collection offers two garments, a jacket and a wind vest. Both are offered in Nautica blue with a central zipper that features the iconic K-Way tape, while the same thermoplastic label is applied to the inside of the garments.

Additionally, both garments repel water thanks to the double-layer Grimpeur fabric, while the jacket features heat-sealed seams to make it waterproof. Also, both have an ergonomic cut and are equipped with a zipped pocket to store the jacket when not being worn.

Lastly, the look is completed by cycling gloves, also in the iconic K-Way colors.

  • Suggested retail price – vest $129,95
  • Suggested retail price – jacket  $199,95
  • Suggested retail price – gloves  $39,95

The garments are available in Santini and K-Way stores worldwide, as well as at www.santinicycling.com and www.k-way.com.
