Following the success of its first capsule collection, Santini and Pirelli have once again partnered a new line of apparel aptly dubbed the Santini x Pirelli Sport Club 2025, which is inspired by the Italian tire giant’s 1922 program that was aimed at promoting employee health and well-being through physical activity. Moreover, it pays homage to Pirelli’s first patented bicycle tire in 1893 called the “Tipo Milano”.
“The Santini x Pirelli Sport Club collection is born from a story that weaves together sport, design, and corporate culture. Inspired by the legacy of the Pirelli Sport Club, founded in Milan on December 13, 1922, the collection celebrates Pirelli’s longstanding commitment to promoting well-being and physical activity among its employees — with cycling quickly emerging as one of the most iconic disciplines. A natural tribute to the company’s deep-rooted connection to the world of two wheels, which began in 1894 with its first bicycle tire, the legendary Tipo Milano,” says Santini.
Taking inspiration from the previous collection, the new designs were inspired by the Pirelli advertising archive of the 1960s. The Ruota jersey is characterized by a motif that recalls the wheel in motion, a symbol of dynamism and innovation, while Tape jersey design is inspired by vintage advertising posters with horizontal colored bands that recall energy, speed and sporting spirit.
Additionally, to compliment the two jerseys, the collection also includes the Pirelli SC shorts, vest, windbreaker and all of the accessories from the 2024 collection. Also, to complete the capsule, a selection of casual garments designed for both everyday use and pre- or post-ride, will be available at end of June.
“The new Santini x Pirelli Sport Club collection renews the bond between two Italian excellences, united by a common vision based on innovation, passion for sport and attention to detail,” says Santini.
