Santini Partners with Mads Pedersen on MADSS Project

In 2018, Team Trek Segafredo (now Lidl Trek) selected Santini Cycling as its official apparel supplier. That same season, Mads Pedersen first experienced the technical excellence of the Italian brand’s garments.

The spark for the 2026 collaboration is the MADSS project (Mega Aerodynamic Speed Shell), the Santini line launched in 2025 and dedicated to aerodynamics and speed. Pedersen was among the first to embrace the concept, not only because of the natural link to his name, but also because it built on performance developments previously carried out together with him and the team.

In this context, it is important to distinguish the two core dimensions of the project: while the MADSS collection represents the technological and aerodynamic “shell” engineered by Santini’s R&D department, the Mads Pedersen line reflects the athlete’s personal interpretation of those same performance standards. For the first time, Mads had the opportunity to move beyond his team’s official colors, collaborating closely with designers to shape an aesthetic that expresses his grit and distinctive style.

From this shared vision, a partnership has taken shape, with the Bergamo-based company and the 2019 World Champion working side by side. Pedersen is actively involved in the development of this exclusive line, conceived to merge his professional racing expertise with his personal sense of style.

“Collaborating with Santini on a collection that carries my name is an incredible opportunity. I wear their garments every day in training and racing, and I know how much dedication goes into every detail,” said Mads Pedersen. “But I didn’t just want my logo on a jersey, I wanted the collection to reflect my philosophy as a rider and my personal style. Santini Cycling also expressed great satisfaction. Throughout its history, the company has developed numerous personalized collections, where the real challenge lies in creating garments that capture the athlete’s essence while also resonating with consumers.
