After a conspicuous absence, Suplest cycling shoes have finally made their way back to these shores thanks to Blacksmith Cycle, distributing the Swiss brand’s complete range of road and MTB/gravel footwear to the US and Canada.
Suplest was founded in Berne, Switzerland in 2007 by two shoe-loving passionate cyclists. Everything they do is driven by a passion for cycling, with the belief that their products bring cycling shoes to the next level, through a dedication to create new and exciting technologies in their creative lab.
Additionally, Blacksmith Cycle will debut Suplest’s latest flagship road shoe called the Edge+2 Pro, which was developed in partnership with celebrated Swiss ex-pro Fabian Cancellara. In fact, to celebrate their collaboration, there’s a limited edition version of the shoe aptly dubbed the Edge+ 2.0 Pro Fabian Cancellara Limited Edition.
“It is our pleasure and special honor to present another Fabian Cancellara Limited Edition shoe after three years of development. Limited to 250 pairs, this time the shoe is in white with the anodised aluminium BOA Fit System and belongs to one of the most exclusive models in our collection. We launch the shoe on a special weekend, when one of the most spectacular one-day races, the Strade Bianche, takes place in Tuscany. Fabian has won this race three times – a 176km ride lead over unpaved gravel roads (“white roads”) around Siena,” says Blacksmith Cycle.
Blacksmith Cycle isn’t just an importer and distributor of premium cycling products, but they have their own boutique showroom in Toronto, Canada as well, where you can see the full range of Suplest cycling shoes set against the backdrop of drool-worthy bikes, apparel and componentry.
They also have their own state-of-the-art fit studio.
