Coryn Rivera (UnitedHealthcare) claimed stage 2 of the women’s edition of this year’s Tour of Utah today, after powering her way clear of the main bunch during the closing 600 meters.
Meanwhile, her teammate, Hannah Barnes, finished in 2nd spot to wrest the overall title from yesterday’s winner Allie Dragoo (Twenty16-ShoAir).
Race Details
UnitedHealthcare was at the front throughout most of today’s 75-minute race in Ogden, Utah.
Heading into the final finishing straight, Rivera hit the front hard. And, from there, she managed to hold off any challenges, to take he win.
Barnes came over the line shortly thereafter, to claim the overall race lead, followed by Sam Schneider (Tibco) in third.
