Vallon’s Watchtowers Sunglasses are Made From 85% Recycled Material

Sunglasses don’t get any more sustainable than Vallon’s Watchtowers, which are made from 85% recycled fishing nets.

“We set out to create the world’s best sustainable shield sunglasses, with industry-leading optics in a retro-modern style. The shatterproof lens developed with ZEISS ensures exceptional quality and optical clarity. The 80s-inspired frame is made from recycled fishing nets fused into a highly durable and lightweight nylon fabric,” boasts Vallon.

Additionally, the Watchtowers come with soft temples designed to keep them secure while minimizing pressure, as well as three interchangeable soft silicone nose pads. The lens also comes treated with Zeiss’ water and oil-repellent RiPel technology.

The Watchtowers are available in three colorways, Black Smoke, Dark Teal Copper and Silver Blue, which fetch $159.
