Van Rysel Lifts the Curtains on New EDR CF Ultra Endurance Bike

Van Rysel has lifted the curtains on its latest endurance road bike dubbed the EDR CF Ultra, boasting generous tire clearance up to 38mm, as well as front and rear mudguard mounts and triple bottle bosses, along with a limited-edition version that’s equipped with a dynamo hub and lights, with a frame weight that tips the scales at a feathery 830 grams.

“Comfort is performance. The EDR CF Ultra is for riders who chase speed – but refuse to compromise on long-distance comfort,” says Rachel Gassier, Van Rysel Endurance Category Product Manager.

Other standout features include DEDA’s semi-integrated DCR cockpit, which Van Rysel claims makes the bike easier to maintain and adjust compared to fully integrated systems, and a DT Swiss dynamo hub wheelset that’s fitted with Shutter Precision’s dynamo light, featuring full internal routing both front and rear, along with a USB charging port.

The EDR CF Ultra is offered in three guises, with the entry-level model coming equipped with a Shimano 105 Di2 groupset and Van Rysel branded VR35 carbon wheels for €3,499, followed by a Shimano Ultegra Di2 variant that’s shod with Swiss Side Hadron Allroad wheels for €4,899, while the range-topping LTD is equipped with SRAM Force AXS and Swiss Side Hadron/DT Swiss SP dynamo hub wheels for €5,099.
