One thing all domestiques share in common is sacrifice. Their efforts are not for themselves, but for the good of the team. So, who were the top domestiques of the 2015 season.
Every rider plays a role on a pro cycling team. Some control the peloton, riding at the front to keep breakaways in check. Others are critical in the mountains, there to provide shelter, a water bottle, or a wheel for their team leader. And others come to the fore in the final kilometers, to ramp up the sprint lead-out. They don’t always get the recognition they deserve, but with this video, we’re doing something about that.
