Wilier may very well have answered the call for a fat bike, gravel bike and off-road endurance bike with its new Jaroon and Jaroon+ off-road bikes – but without too much fat.
Marking a new foray into the off-road segment for the Italian marque, both the Jaroon and Jaroon+ feature a beautifully crafted fillet-brazed steel frame and full carbon fork, along with all of the latest features the aforementioned categories have to offer in the way of bike design and componentry.
For example, the Jaroon is much more in keeping with the likes of the gravel grinder adherents, with its Shimano 105 1X11 groupset, rear through axle, flat mount hydraulic disc brake system, mudguard mounts, both front and rear racks mounts and tire clearance up to 42mm.
As for the Jaroon+, it boldly goes where few drop-handlebar road bikes can. Given its 29X3.0 tires and SRAM Rival 1X11 drivetrain, along with the same differentiated diameter head tube, 27.2 mm diameter seat-post, flat-mount hydraulic disc brakes and same full carbon fork as its sibling, it’s ideally suited for the dedicated off-road tourer and bike packing world.
Pricing for the Jaroon and Jaroon+ starts at around $2800.00, with additional equipment options to be announced.

What’s unique about the Jaroon Plus is the 29 + wheel sizing, 29″ diameter with a width coverage of 3.0. It is a sort of MTB that thanks to the 16° flared out racing handlebar becomes a hybrid born for adventure. Technologically speaking, the frame has a rear through axle, differentiated diameter head tube, 27.2 mm diameter seat-post for greater comfort, disc brake system and monocoque all-carbon fork with through axle . For maximum versatility, the frame has been designed to mount mudguards and rear rack.
