3T continues to expand its range of popular Exploro bikes with three new more affordable models that feature Shimano’s GRX and SRAM’s Rival and wireless Force/AXS eTap groupsets.
To keep costs down, the new models comprise 3T’s “Pro” carbon layup, which relies on a less expensive carbon composition compared to the premium Team and LTD versions.
The Shimano GRX model sells for $3,800, which comes equipped with a 1×11 mechanical groupset, hydraulic disc brakes, a 11-42 cassette and 42T chainring that’s mated to a Praxis Alba aluminum crankset, along with Fulcrum 7 DB wheels, 700x37mm WTB Riddlers tires and 3T’s own alloy stem and handlebar. The frame also gets a stylish new gray and blue color scheme.
For $3600, customers get a Pro Rival equipped Exploro with 42T x 11-42 gearing, Fulcrum 7 DB wheels as well, 700x38mm Schwalbe G-One tires, enough clearance for 650×2.1″ tires and the same 3T cockpit.
At the higher end of the spectrum, 3T offers an Exploro equipped with SRAM’s Force/AXS eTap wireless groupset for $5800, which comes compete with the brand’s Eagle AXS mountain bike derailleur, 11-50 MTB cassette, a Fulcrum Racing 700 DB 650b wheelset and 2″ WTB Venture tires.
