3T Cycling was the recipient of this year’s prestigious iF DESIGN AWARD for its Exploro GravelPlus bike.
Each year, Germany‘s oldest independent design organization recognizes companies and designers for their innovative products across a myriad of categories.
This year, the Exploro was chosen by a 58-member jury made up of independent experts from all over the world, for its unique aero shape and multi-purpose design, which allows cyclists to change between 700cc to 650b wheels.
The Exploro won the coveted award out of a pool of more than 5,500 entries across 59 countries.
3T was founded in Turin in 1961 as Tecno Tubo Torino (Turin Tube Technology). Over the decades, 3T has been regarded for its quality, simplicity and beauty of their products, earning recognition along the way for being the first company to introduce modern alloys to cycling, creating the first dedicated aerobar and most recently for winning two iF Design Awards for introducing the first dedicated “gravel bike” wheels and its latest Exploro frameset.
