Emma Pooley won stage 8 of this year’s Giro Rosa today, with a solo finish atop the final climb of the San Domenico di Varzo – 15 seconds ahead of her closest rival.
Meanwhile, Marainne Vos continues to maintain her grip on the overall race lead, with her teammate Pauline Ferrand-Prevot in second place at almost a minute.
