Ben Berden (Raleigh-Clement) and Katerina Nash (Luna) won the elite men’s and women’s races, at this year’s Jingle Cross – at the Johnson County Fairgrounds in Iowa City, Iowa last night.
Berden successfully held-off his teammate James Driscoll by a mere seconds on the line to claim the victory. Meanwhile, Brian Matter (Momentum Endurance Coaching) finished in third, a few seconds later.
In the women’s race, Nash crossed the line with a comfortable 10 second lead over Courtenay McFadden (GE Capital-American Classic) to seize the win, while Meredith Miller (Noosa) rounded out the podium in third.
The Jingle Cross continues today, with round two of the pro men’s and women’s competition.
