Today’s crash in stage 2 of the Tirreno-Adriatico, which involved Marcel Kittel throwing (more like slamming :() his bike to the ground in anger, made me think back to some of the recent (and not so recent) incidents that led some of cycling’s luminaries – to give their bike the old heave-ho !
(Wiggins does it in a much more respectful way !)
