Canyon Offers Affordable Inflite AL SLX 6.0 Cyclocross Bike

Building upon the success of its carbon range of Inflite cyclocross bikes, Canyon has launched a new affordable aluminum version called the Inflite AL SLX 6.0.

Starting at £1,399 (approximately $1650.00), aspiring cyclocrossers can now gain access to Canyon’s unique frame lay-out, which features a striking toptube design that bevels at the juncture of the seattube for better “shouldering” during races.

The new Inflite AL SLX 6.0 boasts a SRAM Apex 1×11 groupset that features an 11-36t cassette and 40t chainring, as well as flat-mount hydraulic disc brakes.

Another components that punctuate the new bike are DT Swiss C 1850 Spline DB wheels, Schwalbe X-One 33mm tires and the German brand’s own aluminum handlebar, stem and carbon post, along with a Selle Italia X1 saddle, which according to Canyon weighs in at a respectable 19 pounds (8.7kg) in a size medium.

Oddly, Canyon is not showing the Inflite AL SLX 6.0 on its USA website, but you can learn more about the bike by visiting their international site here.
