Carlos Santana Leery About Riding a Bike

Guitar legend, Carlos Santana, says he’s leery about riding a bike, after fellow musician, Bono, took a spill for the worst while riding his bike in New York’s central Park a few months ago.

The accident landed U2’s front-man in the hospital, with a host of serious injuries to include a shattered arm, which he’s still recovering from.

As a result of this tragedy, Santana has been left with doubt, as to whether he’ll get back in the saddle again.

Santana told the Music News:

“My wife, Cindy, just got me a bicycle. I’m leery about trying that after what happened to brother Bono, but she said that was different because it happened in Central Park,” he explained – adding that the area around Las Vegas had its own specific hazards.

“In the desert you might hit a coyote, but that’s it,” he said.
