The German design firm of COBI, has introduced a new integrated biking system that can transform your average bicycle into a smart bike of the future, by bringing everything from lighting, GPS navigation, fitness apps and all of your smartphone functions together in one interface.
At quick glance, the COBI resembles a common smartphone holder. However, once its features are unlocked, cyclists can access virtually anything from the digital world via its simple and intuitive dashboard, such as front and rear ambient lighting, ride data, an electronic bell, weather conditions, GPS navigation and route mapping, as well as all of one’s smartphone functions and music library.
The COBI can also be used with a wide range of wearables and accessories, such as fitness trackers, speed and cadence meters, wireless headphones or heart rate sensors, all of which are kept alive thanks to the system’s built-in detachable/rechargeable battery pack.
