De Rosa Unveils Updated SK Pininfarina Aero Bike

De Rosa and Pininfarina have renewed their partnership with the launch of an updated SK aero bike.

The vaunted Italian brands first partnered on the SK Pininfarina back in 2015, making aerodynamics the hallmark of their collaboration.

The latest iteration of the SK Pininfarina features updated top tube, seat tube and seat stays profiles via a new carbon lay-up process for even greater wind cheating capabilities, as well as a new 370g fork and full internal cable routing – resulting in a claimed weight of 950g.

In addition to the structural updates, the SK Pininfarina also gets some new styling embellishments such as more distinctive lettering, decals and a fancier “heart” head tube logo.

In a press release from De Rosa, president of Pininfarina, Paolo Pininfarina said, “for us, working with a brand means working with the soul of a company. Within De Rosa we found such a commonality of values and vision – materialized in the huge success of the SK Pininfarina – that we are glad to consolidate the partnership with this new model and to start imagining together the future scenery of development.”

Cristiano De Rosa added, “we started the creation of a new logo, together with the Pininfarina designers, that could reflect the vision of our products, while respecting the story that identifies us.”

The new SK Pininfarina is available in eight frame sizes ranging from 46 to 60, along with three new colorways.

Challenge conquests. But similarities unite. Like all the best love stories, De Rosa and Pininfarina came together through shared values: born from family craftsmanship, the passion for innovation, the continuous search for high-performance, artisanship and attention to detail. Today, after 4 years, the two companies collaborate again to realize the New SK Pininfarina, modern and elegant that – as the previous one – aims to be the point of reference for the aerodynamic and fast bikes in the international cycling scenery.
