De Rosa Updates SK Pininfarina Aero Road Bike for 2020

De Rosa has updated its SK Pininfarina aero road bike for 2020, streamlining its aerodynamic signature while shedding some weight as well.

Evidence of this is the SK Pininfarina’s new shape, comprising a thinner, flatter toptube, a flush mounted wedge-style seatpost clamp that’s now completely hidden, a reshaped seattube for added aerodynamic gains and the elimination of the rear brake mount for a more wind cheating effect, along with fully integrated cable routing.

Another big change going forward, is the SK Pininfarina will only be offered with flat-mount, hydraulic disc brake and 12mm thru-axles.

According to De Rosa, all of these changes have resulted in a claimed weight of 950g for a size medium frame, and 370g for the fork.

But, perhaps the most important news about the new SK Pininfarina, is De Rosa says the frameset is now made entirely in Italy.

The SK Pininfarina is available as a frameset only for 3900€, and is offered in six different colorways across eight sizes.

Complete bikes starting around 7700€ are also available, giving customers choices between Shimano Ultegra and Dura-Ace Di2 groupsets, as well as Campagnolo mechanical or EPS options.

De Rosa says availability for the new SK Pininfarina will start in December.
