“Explore Your Boundaries” Bikepacking the Coast of Scotland

On the heels of their first two Explore Your Boundaries videos, round-the-world cyclists Mark Beaumont and Markus Stitz head back out for another ride together, once again focusing on nearby adventures that are accessible to riders with a broad range of skill levels. This time around, they’re joined by the Jenny Graham of the Adventure Syndicate and Maciek Tomiczek.

The group heads to Argyll, just west of Glasgow, to take on a 500-mile route, pedaling along the beautiful coasts where possible and using ferries and boats to connect various isles along the way.

Summarizing her time with the group, Jenny said, “It was exciting to be joining Mark and Markus to explore the boundary of Argyll and the Isles. I think it’s the perfect concept to showcase the adventure potential available from your doorstep.”

“We were using Scotrail’s Highland Explorer carriage and Calmac ferries for part of our journey, which made getting to and cycling in the wild and diverse area of Argyll all the more accessible. Each time I adventure in this area I’m left with the feeling that I’ve only just scratched the surface.”
