Favero has announced the launch of its latest Assioma PRO RS power meter pedals, boasting all of the Italian brand’s technology while ditching the unsightly spindle pods for fully integrated electronics.
Elsewhere, the pedals rely on the same proprietary magnetic adaptors for charging, albeit with USB-C compatibility instead of previously used micro-USB, as well as a shorter Q-Factor of 53mm that’s down from 65mm.
Additionally, the same spindle design is carried over to the Assioma PRO RS, allowing rider to easily switch over to Favaro’s MTB models.
Not surprisingly, weight is also down as well, which according to Favero tips the scales as little as 123.5g per pedal, making them the lightest pedal-based power meter for the road segment.
The Assioma PRO RS pedals sell for $789 / €699 for the dual-sided version, and $499 / €439 for a single-sided.
