Every brand wants in on celebrating this year’s 100th edition of the Giro d’Italia; especially Italian ones.
It’s no surprise that Fizik has taken its R1B road shoe and etched it with jagged peaks and motifs symbolic of this year’s Queen Stage, which takes in the epic climbs of Monte Grappa and Asiago, not far from Fizik’s factory in Marostica.
Aptly called the R1B Climb, the special edition shoe retains all of the same features that make the standard R1B a popular choice among top level pros and enthusiasts, albeit in a limited run of just 40 pairs.
Fizik is offering the R1B Climb in plenty of sizes ranging from 38 to 46, with half sizes in 41 through 45.
Exclusivity comes at a cost however, as the R1B Climb ascends to the lofty price of $430.
