Celebrating classic style and Parisian craftsmanship, Maison Tamboite offers bespoke bicycles from Paris, a boutique brand that can trace its roots back to discerning celebrities such Joséphine Baker, Marlene Dietrich, Maurice Chevalier, Sarah Bernhardt, Charles Trenet and Edith Piaf, among others.

In the 1970’s, Maison Tamboite moved away from the artisan world in favor of new technology, but now the company has returned to its origins, offering handmade bicycles from their workshop that’s nestled between Montmartre and Les Batignolles.

“Our bicycles imbue a classical elegance and refinement that pays tribute to the archetypal bicycle, while at the same time combines technology and craftsmanship to create bespoke, haute couture bikes,” says Maison Tamboite.

Made in a collaboration with the textile company, Dormeuil, the new Maison Tamboite “Le Fauve my tailor is chic” series of bikes evoke the world of fashion and high-end design, featuring removable fabric coverings that can easily be changed to suite the cyclist’s outfit or mood. Moreover, customers to chose from a wide range of fabric and color options, as well as the ability to select the type and color of leather and wood for the  saddle, handlebars, front carrying rack and curved beech rims.
