As a build-up to this year’s Tour de France, Mavic has unveiled as special edition “kit” that celebrates the venerable Col d’Izoard.
The “kit” comprises a special edition jersey, cycling shoes and socks, with a unique color scheme that pays homage to the mythical Alpine pass.
“From the lush valleys to the barren mountain tops, the Col d’Izoard elicits memories of Tour de France drama and the awe of the changing landscape as the climb ascends,” says Mavic.
The special edition jersey features the same Ride Wick ST fabric and embellishments as the French brand’s Cosmic range of apparel.
In the case of the Izoard shoes, they feature the same specs as the Cosmic Pro model, to include micro-adjustable twin BOA dials for quick and easy tensioning and release.
There’s also a pair of matching socks.
