Mosaic Cycles Dazzles with Groovy Paint Scheme at NAHBS 2017 Show

If Mondrian and George Nelson were to give birth to a bicycle – don’t shrug, with all of the talk about sexual fluidity and DNA cloning these days it could happen – this is what it would look like.

Indeed, Mosaic Cycles dazzled onlookers at last week’s North American Handmade Bicycle Show (NAHBS), with one of the grooviest paint schemes we’ve come across in quite awhile.

Helmed by Aaron Barcheck, Mosaic Cycles turned to Spectrum Paint and Powder Works to create this glorious paint scheme for its Love Bike Number 3.0, which harkens back to the Mid-Century Modern period, a time when color and shape spawned one of the most exciting eras in the history of art and design.

However, this was not Mosaic’s only accolade of note at NAHBS, as the Boulder, Colorado-based artisan brand also won the show’s “Best Gravel Bike” this year as well.

Dig!
