Scicon Introduces New Aerowing Lamon Sunglasses

Known mainly for their high end bike cases and carrying products, Scicon has introduced its latest sunglass model called the Aerowing Lamon, which features an innovative shape that the Italian brand says “increases protection and fit while reducing aerodynamic impact.”

“A combination of experience, research and innovation, developed together with world class athletes. This radical new shape features bio-inspired, novelty design elements that increase protection and fit while reducing aerodynamic impact. The wing-like lens design with slitted trailing edges diffuses air to exit smoothly along the side of the lens. Diffusion of the air flow at the edges of the lens also helps to pull more fresh air behind the lens avoiding fogging up. Two air vent ducts provide additional airflow,” adds Scicon.

According to Scicon, the Aerowing Lamon sunglasses are produced in Italy, featuring a frame that’s made from “ecologically produced and bio-based material which is both durable and lightweight.”

“Nature demonstrates near-infinite solutions to problem solving. Handcrafted in Italy and as an industry first the Aerowing Lamon features an ecologically produced, bio-based frame material that is durable, lightweight, strong and withstands the harshest conditions – all while reducing our carbon footprint,” explains Scicon.

The Aerowing Lamon is available in eight lens color options, which sells for $220 and comes with a lifetime warranty.

There’a also a special edition yellow framed version that celebrates Tadej Pogacar’s Tour de France victory.
