SCICON Shows-Off Flashy Aeroshade Kunken Sunglasses with Monogram Lens

SCICON is showing-off its latest model of sunglasses called the Aeroshade Kunken, which features the Italian brand’s monogram emblazoned across the entire lens that’s only visible from the outside. 

Additionally, the Aeroshade Kunken comes with an all new, fully customizable Flexfit nose pad that’s adjustable based the individual’s facial structure and fit preference, while five extended air dispersion gaps on each side help to ensure optimal ventilation so the lens won’t fog up.

Tadej Pogačar was first seen donning the Aeroshade Kunken during last year’s Il Lombardia in 2021. For this season the new shades will be won under the auspices of four UCI WorldTour teams – UAE Team Emirates, BikeExchange Jayco, Israel Start Up Nation and Team Astana Qazaqstan.

The Aeroshade Kunken sells for $220, €190, £160, AU$310 and CA$280, which comes in a number of different frame colors, as well as lens options that leave out the monogram.

• 11 lens color options are available, including colored multi-mirror, low light pink, photochromic, transparent and the new monogram multi-mirror aesthetic.
• The Horizon Adapt mechanism, a height adjustable nosepiece, allows the wearer to tailor the field of vision depending on preferred riding position.
• 100% UV 400 protection blocks all light rays up to 400NM, including both UVA and UVB rays.
• SCICON claims that the new product offering is ecologically produced, with a bio-based frame material.
