SILCA Artsist Edition Richard Sachs Pumps

It’s hard to know where to even begin in describing the rich history of Richard Sachs and his handmade bicycles. Richard has long been considered one of the finest framebuilders in the world, a true master of his craft who has inspired our industry with his writings, photography, racing, and of course: stunning handmade bicycles. Perhaps Richard is most famous for having a closed order book. At last count the wait for a Richard Sachs bicycle was well over 10 years so Richard has stopped accepting new commissions for frames, something previously unheard of in our sport. You can read about Richard, his craft, and his racing team on hundreds of websites, magazines and blogs, but we recommend starting here:

Partnering with Richard Sachs of course means partnering with Joe Bell, the man who has painted every single Richard Sachs Bicycle for the last 30+ years. For SILCA/Sachs Collaboration pumps, Joe is working with this stunning House Industries designed graphic wrapping around the entire pump barrel which makes for a stunning combination to behold in person. The detail in these pumps is amazing with the signs of a true master showing through in every detail.

Please Note: We are only doing RS pumps in the current RS graphic package. We cannot match historic or vintage Sachs paint-schemes or graphics, but we can try to match color. Upon placing your order you will be contacted by SILCA to finalize paint color, please be sure to have your correct phone number and email address at checkout.

To talk to a SILCA designer about a custom color Richard Sachs pump please call us at 317.964.0592 or email us at sales@silca.cc. Each pump is painted to order, the wait time will be determined and communicated based on the number of other projects currently underway at Joe Bell Refinishing.
