The GEO is a Folding eBike that Relies on Recycled Materials and Plants for Its Construction

The Ossby GEO is an elegant, folding eBike that relies on recycled fibers and vegetal resins for its construction, boasting lighter weight and strength over traditional materials like aluminum and steel, not to mention its both sustainable and environmentally friendly.

Ossby arrived on-scene back in 2011, this the goal of turning out two-wheelers that offered unique designs and the use of innovative materials, first breaking ground with such eye-catching models as the Curve Echo and Curve Electric.

Tipping the scales at an impressive 24 pounds (11 kg), the Spanish brand’s latest GEO features a carbon fiber fork, a 14” front wheel and a 16” rear, along with hydraulic brakes, integrated LED lights and a hidden 7Ah battery that’s housed in the composite frame, offering a range of up to 30 miles (50 km) on a single charge. The bike is also capable of carrying up to 242 pounds (110 kg).

Additionally, a 250W brushless motor provides assistance up to 15 mph (25 kph) courtesy of five pedaling assistance modes, while a Bluetooth enabled, dedicated app gives riders access to multiple features.

You find the Ossby GEO on the Kickstarter crowd-funding platform, offering early-backers access to the first batch of bikes with a pledge of approximately $1,207, with and estimated shipping date of June 2023.
