Organizers for the 2017 Rasputitsa Gravel Road Race announced this week, that Tim Johnson and Lyne Bessette have teamed up with this year’s event to create a one-lap cyclocross finish.

This year’s 45 mile route will finish at the Sherborne Base Lodge part of Burke Mountain in East Burke, Vermont, where riders will transition from gravel roads to trails and conclude with a one-lap cyclocross finish along the Burke Mountain slopes.

Both Bessette and Johnson will play an integral role in designing the course, which will be branded with logos representing Bessette’s gravel ride, 100b7.

“Tim and I are very proud to be working with the amazing people that created the Rasputitsa. Getting dirty is what we’re looking for. We will be served plenty of this on April 22nd. Be there!!”, said Bessette.

This year marks the fourth edition for the Rasputitsa Gravel Road Race, which in past events has drawn as many as a 1,000 riders from 16 states and 3 provinces.

The event is organized by cycling industry veterans Anthony Moccia and Heidi Myers, who are predicting this year’s race will garner the biggest turnout to date.
