A belated happy birthday to Victor Cosson, who was born on October 11, 1915, and died on June 18, 2009.
The French rider is best remembered for finishing 3rd in the 1938 Tour de France behind Gino Bartali of Italy and Felicien Vervaecke of Belgium.
In addition, Cosson won the 1943 Paris – Camembert classic. He was also an accomplished cyclocross racer as well.
