State Bicycle Co. is proud to celebrate The Notorious B.I.G. with the official collection of bikes, apparel, and accessories. As life-long Hip-Hop fans, they’ve grown up listening to and being inspired by this rap legend. Biggie’s music has been the soundtrack to countless rides, hangs, and late-night work sessions in the State office.
Pieces from the collection honor his 6x Platinum debut album “Ready To Die,” Biggie’s legendary style, and his timeless lyrics. The 2020 release is also significant as it commemorates The Notorious B.I.G.’s nomination into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The collection includes a limited-edition Ready to Die Bike ($499), 3 cycling kits and caps, bar tape, and t-shirts. State Bicycle Co. x Notorious B.I.G. products are available exclusively on State Bicycle Co.’s website (www.statebicycle.com) starting July 1st, 2020.
State Bicycle Co. worked directly with the Estate of Christopher Wallace, as well as Biggie’s worldwide merchandise and branding team at Merch Traffic, on the collection.
Wayne Barrow, Biggie’s manager, said of the collaboration, “State Bicycle is a great bike company, and the Estate is happy to be collaborating with them on these dope Ready To Die bikes, paying homage to BIG’s legacy!”
As with other State Core-Line bike models, the Notorious B.I.G. edition comes in four sizes and includes options of three handlebar styles.
