Not hailing too far from Cambridge, Massachusetts, I thought it was rather fortuitous that we crossed paths on social media with a cycling apparel brand called This Is Cambridge.
But more than just sharing a locale of the same name, This is Cambridge turned out to be a purveyor of some of the grooviest, bespoke cycling togs we’ve come across in quite awhile.
Indeed, the British brand smacks of a full-on remake of 1960’s – 1970’s Carnaby Street in all manner of color.
This Is Cambridge is a fully automatous brand, meaning they set the rules when it comes to design, turning out truly unique garments that are emblazoned with color patterns that would challenge anyone’s notion that the Brits can be stolid when it comes to fashion.
Interestingly, This Is Cambridge regards its apparel as being gender neutral, meaning there’s no Him or Her when it comes to cycling, but Us.
This Is Cambridge has a hands-on approach to selling, offering its apparel directly to customers and ruling out the possibility of their brand becoming diluted with sellers in the middle.
