Bianchi has extended its popular range of Infinito road bikes to include the new Infinito XE, which is aimed squarely at the Gran Fondo rider.
“The geometry of the Infinito XE has been optimized in the WorldTour in the one-day classics, providing maximum performance with minimum stress for long distance. It also proved to be the ideal Gran Fondo machine”, says Bianchi.
The Infinito XE features hydraulic disc brakes and flat mount calipers, along with 12mm front (12×100) and rear (12×142) thru axles.
Frame clearance has also been increased to provide enough room for 32mm tires, capable of taking the Infinito XE off-load as well.
“For a long day in the saddle the full carbon frame and fork creates a bike that is as good to ride as it is to look at. Available in 47, 50, 53, 55, 57, 59 and 61cm sizes and with a frame weighing just 1,100 grams and the fork 420 grams, the Infinito XE helps you savor every pedal stroke”, adds Bianchi.
Other features that highlight the Infinito XE are internal shifter and brake cables, a tapered 1 1/8″ to 1 1/2″ headtube for improved stability and a new dedicated alloy seatpost that was developed for a clean, integrated look.
Weighing in at 1,100 grams for the frame and 420 grams for the fork, the Infinito XE is available in sizes 47, 50, 53, 55, 57, 59 and 61cm.
