Known for its rub-on chain wax, WEND Bike has launched a new liquid chain lube, claiming the same level of durability as its paste counterpart.
The development of WEND’s popular paste waxes resulted from a need for a cleaner, more efficient way to lubricate bike chains. The WEND team has always known the benefits of a waxed chain, so their goal was to make waxing a chain easier and faster. The application of WEND Bike’s Liquid Lube is even quicker than its paste counterpart, with no loss in durability or effectiveness. Simply drip on, allow to dry, and ride away,” the company said.
The company says its new lube is free of petroleum, solvent, dyes or fragrance and is non-toxic and biodegradable.
“Our mission at WEND is to follow suit with the legacy of Wax Research — which means we’re all about creating unconventional formulas that work, along with bringing products to market that no one has ever created before,” said company co-founder Ryan Dahl. “We’ve created a new proprietary wax base that really shines in the chain lubrication department. The fact that it is environmentally friendly is just icing on the cake.”
In addition to its line of “rub-on” and “drip-on” products, WEND also offers factory waxed chains, hot wax kits and cleaners.
